Description: This workshop is conducted using WebEx and consists of five, four-hour sessions with slide presentations and discussion. Topics include Geometric Design Criteria for Fixed Wing and Rotary Wing Airfields, Drainage, Pavement Markings, Arresting Systems, Design Packages and Specifications, and sessions on Jointing, Pavement Repair, Joint Sealing, and Grooving Details. The last day will also include intro to airfield electrical design. If you have already taken the design course and just want to take the last day for electrical please email James Heusel.
