This training course is sponsored by Headquarters, Installation Management Command IMCOM as part of the College of Installation Management, School of Public Works. With IMCOM, the Transportation Systems Center TSC will be conducting a three-day PAVER training course for DPW personnel. The training will concentrate on the procedures used in the pavement evaluation process, proper and improper repair techniques, developing projects, preventive maintenance techniques, and explain how the reported results can assist the installations in managing their pavement infrastructure. The training will begin with general discussions on pavement types, surface condition inspections, maintenance and repair strategies, and pavement management. The training will continue with discussion of the importance of pavement management and how the reports and software can be used for developing maintenance and repair strategies aimed to optimize available budgets and pavement performance. Workshops and lectures will include family modeling, inventory creation and updating, work history, real property unique ids and distress maintenance policies. Registration closes 5 June 2020.

Who Can Attend?

Once the online registration closes, students will be receiving an acceptance letter/email confirming their registration. An additional email will be sent with guidance for attending the course ex. travel information. IMCOM will fund travel expenses of IMCOM employees. Travel cost for non-IMCOM employees is the responsibility of their organization.
